Today we have Kerry from OHAYO who lives in Lushnje. We saw a material in video projector for American food. The first thing we watch was"The American hungry and "What is American food"? The hamburger had comes from German the sandwich has origins in the Mediterranea area, the hot-dog the sausage had come from German. "Rather go to bed supperless than run in debt for a breakfast (Benjamin Franklin).Breakfast is a very important meal in America compared with Albania. The most popular breakfast in America is called cereal. Some breakfast foods are: eggs, bacon sausage, pancakes, yogurt, toast. Brunch is a combination meal, usually reserved for holidays etc. Lunch is a quick,mid-day usually eaten at home.Whats for dinner? The final and biggest meal of the day. More eat as a group. Many families cook dinner. Snacks are small things such as fruit, yogurt, cheese, chips, pretzels.Eating out versus cooking at home?Eating out is more expensive than cooking at home. What influences Americans eating habits.Time, money, age, social activity, family size, ethnic diversity."Food for thought"The difference is that we do not eat brunch and we have dinner more later. We have coffee more popular but in America is tea more popular.

Today Amy had invited her mother for us. She had traveled from Minnesota to tirana and today she was in vlora. it was not very prepared for this class and was too tired. Our professors had prepared kabuni and a kind of American tea.We all enjoyed it.She told us that in Minnesota people drik coffee before going to work. For her, brunch was the combination of breakfast and lunch.Maciato in her coffee shop was served wet and with frothed milk. Her favourite food was pizza, salad, chicken. At her home she cooks hot dishes. The firs think that makes her impression were dogs.
